DANIEL: Why did you vote me out? How much did you trust me and at any point did you intend on taking me farther than you did?
My question to Desmond will vary based on Daniel's response, so I will wait on him.

Claire had been granted Immunity and Desmond had told me that he had another idol that he would use on himself. That left Ben, you and myself. However, I knew I could trust Ben more. That one vote other than my own was the most important that round.
Did I intend on taking you further? It depended on what else could happen in the game, Immunity, other deals, but you were dangerously close to Claire and your final two was clearly visible.

DESMOND: Why did you and Jack not participate in my would have been sure deal coup d'etat against Daniel? Had my votes not been cancelled, Daniel, the biggest threat to you Desmond, would be gone.

Well, firstly I had absolutely no idea it was going on. (Never heard anything from you or Claire before the vote)
Secondly, I completely trusted Dan at this point as well.. in the group of 4 it was Ben I was a little worried about at the time. Your vote was cancled to avoid a posible You/Claire/Ben tieup.. and you were hit because you were the one we were voting out. It still kills me to know what that throw-away use of the reward cost Jack.
